We participated in the project to demolish the two chimneys and the hopper building using explosives. The 50-metre fall of reinforced concrete was spectacular, carried out safely and precisely. A total of 1,000 kg of explosives were used. The blast took place on 12 February in Cubillos de Sil, Castile and León.
This symbolic project is linked to the mining and industrial history of El Bierzo, where controlled blasting techniques and experience were key to the success of the project. We are a benchmark for the high technical and operational level of our team, which integrates blasting engineering, drilling control and coordination with the rest of the participants.
